A mid sized software company gave its support copilot access to shared memory across tickets, call notes and its billing system. We followed the results for three months.

The first month

The most visible change was that customers stopped repeating themselves. The copilot could see the last ticket, the plan and the refund policy, and wrote replies that used them.

By day 90

Escalations to a human fell because the copilot could find the earlier decision that had already settled the question. Agents also began leaving short notes for each other, which became some of the most retrieved memories.

What they would do differently

They would have set access scopes earlier and named an owner for the memory from day one. Both are in our rollout playbook now.
